In 2018, above the skies of Albuquerque, New Mexico — surrounded by 600 aircraft and hundreds of luminous balloons at the world-famous Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta — we captured something extraordinary. Some people stumble into their calling. Jesse built his.
With over two decades as a designer, illustrator, and photographer, Jesse has spent his career doing one thing — making people see things differently. From brand development for companies nationwide to freelance production work for local ad agencies, he carved out a reputation as the guy you call when the project doesn't fit a standard mold. Unconventional concepts. Things that haven't been done before. That's where Jesse thrives.
When the FAA began licensing commercial drone pilots, Jesse was among the first in the country to become Part 107 certified. He didn't waste a moment. Starting in construction inspection, he quickly recognized that the real opportunity wasn't in infrastructure — it was in experience. In storytelling.
In 2018, Jesse became the first — and only — drone pilot ever granted access to fly at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, New Mexico's crown jewel and one of the most complex airspace events in the world. Trusted to operate among 600 other aircraft, in a sky shared by hundreds of balloons. That event didn't just produce stunning imagery — it launched VRush.

There aren't many cinematographers who can say they've juggled on a moving train. Seth Beabout can.
Before he was trusted with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cinema glass and operating the most advanced camera systems in the film industry, Seth was traveling the rails as a circus performer — honing the kind of hand-eye precision, composure under pressure, and showmanship that you simply can't teach in a classroom. It turns out, those skills translate perfectly behind a camera.
Seth got his start in the New Mexico film industry at Panavision, where he worked as a lens technician — learning cameras from the inside out, literally. Not just how to operate them, but how they breathe, how they fail, and what makes them exceptional. That foundation gave him something rare: a cinematographer who doesn't just point a camera at light, but genuinely understands it. Color science, optical physics, the behavior of light across a frame — Seth operates at a level that goes well beyond traditional photography into the realm of visual craft.
Today at VRush, Seth brings all of it together — his circus-trained composure, his cinematographer's eye, and his deep technical fluency — filming one-of-a-kind experiences from all corners of the planet and managing VR operations that put thousands of guests inside worlds they've never imagined.
He's still the most interesting person in the room. He's just traded the train car for the whole world.
